2010 Culinary Medicine Cookshops Win DAA Presidents Award for Innovation

Since the introduction of our first cookshop in September 2009, we have had a phenomenal response from attendees. Our cookshops have also won a prestigious award from the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) in May 2010 for the best innovation in the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Melissa recently upgraded her nutrition qualifications to a Master of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics, and placed herself at the top of her degree! During an evening ceremony, the DAA presented her with a certificate for her outstanding achievement.

Cerfificate of Appreciation

We support the future of dietetics by working together with the Human Nutrition Unit at the University of Sydney to provide professional development, training, and supervision of dietetic interns. Students are able to appreciate the practical application of clinical dietetics as well as assist the dietitians in a range of consultancy projects and cookshops.

Sue Radd’s The Breakfast Book won The Vittoria Australian Food Media Awards Food Media Club Australia Award for Best Nutrition Writing in 2004.
